Rear wheel seal Bertone
« on: June 15, 2018, 08:01:57 AM »
Hi,
I need your help. I changed the right rear wheel bearing and I need one seal. I can't find this in the auto parts stores and I don't have any reference of the seal. I attach some photos about this part and if anyone know any shop or number of the piece, thank you

These are for the bearings, yeah? I found wheel seals a bunch of places....assuming that you could use a feroza seal.

Yes, is for the bearings but this seal is for fit to the housing. This is not a usual seal, I think it's specific only for bertone/feroza/sportrak and for the moment I can't find this piece in Spain

Yes, I had sent mails to diferents auto stores, include daihatsu Italia (I think isn't operative) and for the moment it's imposible find the piece(with sizes and photos). I found a pair of references, but with the kit complete of bearing and with the photo of spares this include this seal but it's not sure.
The kits are Jakoparts J4716010 and Blue Print ADD68317

OK: I have had some luck getting parts from around the world, so to speak: I got my upper ball joints from Taiwan and lower ball joints from Germany, and have been speaking (bad) spanish to try to source a rear Limited Slip Differential. I will try.

However, I need to know more. This russian site has the full service manuals for Ferozas ( should be fine for US-spec Rockys and EU Freeclimbers) and includes part numbers. Can you point me out to what you need?

Also, not to be underestimated, the Rocky Northwest guys are lightning fast, too, if they have it: I got a whole new fender in a couple of days.

Thanks for your help.
I am taking a look about the reference and I can't find any number for the seal. Only photos and instruction of assembly. Monday I think I will have any answer about all of the mails I sent. The piece is the same of the photos.

This gentleman, here in the US, has the rear seals. He sent me his e-mail address so you can chat directly with him. Name is Rob Drummer.

Thanks to everybody.

Gale, if you don't mind reaching out to Rob at that e-mail, that would be great. It would be good for you to make contact for future needs, because even if he doesn't have it, he can find it or likely knows about it.

Galetamix. Did that end up being the right seal for you? also just to clarify it is the 'rear axle housing end gasket'. and were you able to find the 'rear axle shaft oil seal'?
