wheel swaps between narrow tracks and wide
« on: May 10, 2008, 09:33:46 PM »
hi

does anyone know if the differace between the narrow track and the wide track is in the suspension or the wheels or both. could you obtain wide track wheels and place them on a narrow track to lower the center of gravity? i want to do a body life but i dont want to make her tippier. do they use the same width tyres???

thanks

I did a 2.5\" body lift and a 1.5\" suspension lift on my Feroza.
It is the F300 which I think is the narrow track. I use wheels with
a negative offset and plan to put wheel spacers to make it even less susceptible to tipping. The wheel hole mount dimension of the Feroza and the suzukis are the same.

yes, but what i am asking is; are the wide track wheels negavely offset compared to narrows. ie, in order to get extra track on the cheap, could you put wide track wheels on a narrow track? does anyone know what exactly the differances with the twos suspension is??? any help would be appreciated, b
