Head Bolts
« on: July 05, 2017, 01:47:41 PM »
Is there a convenient source for head bolts for a Rocky?

Just snapped one while replacing the head gasket.  Nine torqued down just fine, and this last one broke.

Luckily it came out in one piece (for some reason)

If you know the size, you should check out ARP, which provides tons of stuff to the hot rod community.

Allen's Fasteners Havasu Arizona.  Just ordered head studs, 8 studs M10-1.25 & 1.50 X 5.000 ARP stud AM6.500-2LUB    2 studs M10-1.25 & 1.50 X 5.000 ARP stud AM-4.725-2B  Web site is a little tough.  Go to ARP, hit the narrow search arrow, go down to individual studs, hit that & scroll down to the AM series.  $16+ each for the 8 studs, $7+ each for the 2 studs.  $155.+ with shipping to Scottsdale Az.

Sorry for the delay, but ARP referred me to Allen's in Havasu.
