Wow, Les !!!

You've got a whole lotta coins and sweat equity in that thing.  One would suspect you've spent more on farkles than it cost for the ROCKY in the first place!

Not really shipmate, almost all of the radio gear and GPS has been in inventory for a long time.  Just needed to get the antenna mounts and the power and data cables for the GPS.  The spendy bit was the towbar.  Granted it came with one but hooking up to it was a challenge and the non hardened pins that attached it to the Rocky were wearing too rapidly.  The new one is a lot easier to hook up to.

Hope your summer is going well my friend!

If I can ask, with all of that electrical kit, are you using the stock alternator?

Yes, nary a problem with low voltage.  The ham radio transmits digitally when in APRS mode once every 15 minutes at 10w output for about 3 seconds automatically.  The two radios are rarely transmitted with voice.  The GPS which interfaces with the ham radio uses very little power.

The headlights draw the about the same power as stock sealed beam units, just are much better quality.  The tow wiring uses no power from the Rocky.
