Took my pup for a ride down an old logging road to the Garcia River in Southern Mendocino County for a swim.

Mostly Coho and Steelhead Salmon.  I seldom fish the inland rivers... Mostly offshore for King Salmon and Rock Cod.

I lived in New York for two years, in LA for almost one year, in the Philippines for two years and was in St. Johns, Newfoundland, for about two weeks, so all those times the ocean wasn't very far away, but I never fished anything but freshwater! Crazy, huh, but I sure would like to try!

Steelhead are very similar to rainbow trout except that they spend most of their lives in salt water.
