My only problem with replacing our front IFS with solid axle is the height.
After the conversion, it becomes very tall. :(

I agree, I didn't really want this much height (although it will be useful in the rocks). I think it could be designed to give 2-3 less inches of height. I got the 33/12.50/ 15's on it today. They fill the wheel well pretty good but I still think it could come down a bit. I will try to get pics tomorrow, as well as update a bit.  :13:

I have been unable to make much progress the last three years due to a house fire and trying to rebuild. Tires are actually starting to crack from just sitting. Drove it around a bit but the turbo isn't making much boost, need to change. Need to change badly leaking p/s box, etc. Hope to finish the house this fall and get back to the Rocky. I also have a vw tdi to install a little later on, hoping to get 150hp and over 200 torque. Should be fun!
