My speedometer needle is shaking until I get over about 40 MPH and then its ok. Is it a loose cable or any other ideas? Thanks

i would undo the cable end either from the dash or the t-case and pull the inner cable out, clean it off with some sort of solvent or contact cleaner and a rag, then lube it up really good with wd40 or the likes and see if that helps, usually bouncing is because its sticky and after a certain speed it over powers the sticky effect
