lift kit / rear staybolts 6 Months ago Karma: 0
    hi

when performing a body lift on a fez, how does one go about removing those bolts at the very back of the vehicle. These are the two bolts under the rear bumper and lights. In the guide on here it says to remove them 'by way of nut'. how do i use a nut to remove these bolts

    thanks

I did a 2 inch body lift but it was a while ago
I dont remember having any problems I took the bumpers off when I did it When you get in there you should see how they come off
Just get in there & try it You will be surprised how easy it is I was Good Luck
PS All the posts Ive read about it suggested only doing 2 inches but after I was done I saw one for 3 But with 2 inches you will need to reposition some things, Radiator & sensors.

Rokbebop, its all good. We learn from other here all the time. In my little town I went to all the speciality screw and bolt stores to try to find metric bolts m10 x 1.25 and 6 3/4 inches long with fine threads and nobody had them. I had to go with "Inches" bolts all around. Thus I didn't have any bolts to replace the rear with.
