Welcome to WARFS.org!  Perhaps you are looking for technical advice, parts, a mechanic, or even an entire Daihatsu Feroza / Daihatsu Rocky / Daihatsu Sportrak; well you have come to the right place.  Much like Daihatsu, WARFS.org has been around for awhile.

The Worldwide Association of Rocky, Feroza, and Sportrak (WARFS) was founded in 1999 by Kevin Stoelb, who wanted to create a central location for owners to meet and share information.  WARFS started out as a small section of his personal web site dedicated to Rockys, and with the increasing interest, he decided to create an organization and web site dedicated to the owners of Daihatsu 4x4s.

Join fellow owners on our email list to converse about technical questions; search the part links for parts; browse the gallery for sweet rides and modifications; read the technical articles; post free classifieds, or better yet...

Contribute!  In the hope to create a more open web community this website was designed to let anyone write tech articles, upload photos, add links and events, you name it.  Just login (anyone can create an account) and click on the 'Submit' links in the menu.  If you have any questions contact the webmasters.

hello,
I just purchased a 92' 'Rocky' from here in Boulder, Colorado for $1,200.00. I think I got a descent deal considering a couple minor electrical issues in the interior, missmatching seats, a broken blower motor, cracked windshield (standard for Colorado) and a homemade rear window hand cut from a thick plexiglass that doesn't seal very tight at all. The truck does have a new waterpump, new exhaust, new break pads(clean rotors), new belts, and new hoses. The engine has 124,000 miles, but purs like a kitten. The exterior is super clean. WAS THIS A GOOD DEAL? I realy like the car and I bought it for my girlfriend for the winter on the dirt roads up arond my home. WAS THIS A GOOD CHOICE? If someone a bit more familiar with the truck let me know what they think, I would be greatly appreciate it.

Thanks so much for your time,
Kevin Griesemer

Just bought my first Sportrak, it's a 1989 but in absolutly mint condition. Found this site by pure accident while searching for A bars. Have to say what a great site! More information in one place than I could have ever hoped for.
Well done all.
Regards
Steve

Glad there is this group. I'm from Manila,Philippines and recently got an early 90's model of the Feroza with a carburatted fuel induction system.

I intend to get a lot of recreational time with it off-road and is concerned with parts availability since Daihatsu no longer operates in the Philippines. Hoping to get some suggestions from the group.

Thanks a lot and hope to hear from you.

God bless.
